WSSD Acceptable Use Policy

The purpose of this policy is to provide guidelines for the use of the Internet and e-mail network.
Establishes rule that Internet access, electronic email, and network access are for educational and instructional purposes only.
Established district complicance with CIPA.
Reauthorized in June 2010 with updates covering Web 2.0 tools, the establishment of websites, copyright, and parental permission
Students must sign each year and with a reauthorization of the policy.
Teachers sign upon hiring and with a reauthorization of the policy.
